Hi Everyone I have Lily, she is the sweetest Ragdoll I`ve ever met, I only got her on Saturday, but she has settled really well. She has used her litter tray without any problems. I feel so lucky to have been able to adopt her, I felt so sorry for Helen and Darren as they left, I could see there hearts breaking saying goodbye to her, I want to say a massive Thank you to them, without them I would be so lonely, but now I`m so excited to get up and play with Lily. I brought her the cheese chase toy, wow she can`t get enough of it. I would like to put photos on here, but cannot work it out, anyone out there, can you please let me know how to put them on. Lily hasn`t eaten very much, is this normal for older cats on there first few days, I`m keeping a close eye on the bowl, fingers crossed her bowl will be empty by the morning. Again thank you Helen and Darren, I love my new big baby, she is purfect in everyway. Jackie

Hello Jackie and precious Lily It was a privilege to entrust Lily to your very loving, capable hands. It was plain to see, as soon as Lily arrived at your home, just how safe, relaxed and 'at home' she felt so quickly. She was a gem as she explored her new home and that is because you made her feel calm and welcome. She has been waiting for the right home for a very long time and we could not have found better, so thank you. We have have done many adoption handovers for Ragdolls we have fostered (Lily was our 34th foster Raggie) and every one was special in its own way, but under the circumstances and knowing just how much it meant to you, Lily's adoption was the best yet for us. The sadness we felt as we left her was completely worth it to see that huge smile on your face and to know Lily has a new Mum who will love her unconditionally. Lily is happy and your are happy...what more could we ask? Thank you for opening your home and your heart to her. Lovely to know that she is already such wonderful company for you.....it will only get better. I know you will cherish every moment. Don't worry about her having a bit of a slow appetite....that is absolutely to be expected. The stress of the move has to come out somewhere and she may not get back her full appetite for a few days yet. Just leave the food down for her, so she can graze, as and when she wants to. Give her big cuddles from Darren and me. There is info about posting photos at this link: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=11079Hoping that helps you, but if not email the pics to us and we will happily submit them for you. Have a happy day. Helen x Ps. How is Lily with your Christmas tree??

Hi Lily is still doing well. Shes asleep under the christmas tree, having fun with her toys. She is so loverable, I gave her a brush up today, Lily rolled and rolled, loved every minute of it. When I put the brush down, she flicked it on to the floor, she wanted more! She has not pulled the tree down, so gentle is she that she taps the balls and just watches them swing. Still not eating much, but drinking, I weighed her food last night and 10 grams were gone by this morning, she must be a sneeky eater, hopefully her bowl will be clean by the morning. We had a game of fetch, I did most of the fetching but she learning fast. I taught her catch, well that she grasps straight away, clever girl, Lily has her funny five minutes of running back and forth, it is a joy to own such a gentle pretty little girl. Bye for now Jackie

She's beautiful! And she looks so very at home and comfortable. It's lovely to see another Raggie settled and happy. Congratulations Jackie on the new addition and well done Helen and Darren for finding another purrfect home.
Jackie, Helen's right when she says that living with a Raggie just gets better. They're such lovely cats and they continually make us laugh with their antics. I adopted my two, aged 5 and 6, nearly 3 years ago, (in fact today is Milo's 9th birthday), and they've brought so much joy to me and my boyfriend that I don't know how I ever lived without them. Owing a Raggie was a dream of mine since I first met one, when I was 15. I had to wait 18 years for the opportunity but they're definitely worth the wait.

Happy Birthday Milo, hope you got some special treats, Its so nice to hear of other adoption stories, the UKRCC are doing a fab job, well done to them. I`m so pleased I adopted lily, I was going back down that road of getting another kitten, but after losing one within a week, and the breeder not really being nice to me, I asked the vets for Ragdoll adoption sites. I was one lucky person for Darren to contact me. Lily has eaten, I`m so pleased, I mixed a couple of treats in her bowl, this did the trick, I did think the treats would go first, but theres still one in the bowl. she must be feeling more relaxed. Today I lost my place on the sofa, she had deceided this is her sofa lol, cheeky monkey, she looked up at me as if to say, your chair is over there, bless her, how can I move her when she gives me that look. Lily sends big cuddles to Helen and Darren

Hi Everyone Its been nearly 2 months since I homed lily, I can honestly say its been the happiest time for me for such a long time. Lily is as good as gold, no accidents atall. She now sleeps with me all night, and playtime is 6.30 every morning, I get woken up with a good clean, (my head) and loads of cuddles, I`ve never known a cat to be so loving. We share the sofa, where as before this was hers . I took her to vets for a claw trim, even they said how calm and relaxed she is. She has to have a tooth removed soon as she has a small hole there, but hopefully she will okay. Lily has taken to watching TV, I have to be careful with whats coming on, any animals she is not to sure with, she`s so funny, even brave enough to tackle the Lion programme, bless her, she jumps up and taps the screen, jumps down and really can`t work out whats going on lol.... Lily sends lots of cuddles to Helen and Darren Bye for now
