Fur

Postby sharonchilds66 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 4:38 pm

Hiya, wv)
Archie is now nearly 10 months old, healthy and very happy . Over the last couple of weeks he has been pulling his fur out, only little bits at a time, ive checked to see if his skin looks ok and for bald patches and both are fine. He is flea'd regularly and ive not changed his food. I am at a loss as to why he is doin it :?:
Do any of you guys have any ideas?

Thanks Sharon. x

Have you taken him to the vet to rule out anything medically wrong with him?
if you haven't I would suggest you do so. If you have maybe he is bored. Does he have plenty of things to entertain him such as climbing trees, boxes, paper bags, bottle tops, rolled up sweet wrappers. You could try hiding his food in toilet rolls, paper bags, cartons so he has to hunt for his food instead of putting it in his bowl if you feed him dry food. If he is an only cat and left on his own for quite a while consider adopting another cat and it doesn't have to be a raggie if you can't afford one just a cat that lives inside with him as a playmate :D
