Ragdolls Pooping when Locked out of Bedroom - Help!

Postby vprescott » Mon Feb 01, 2010 3:26 pm

Dear All

I have recently starting having a problem with my two little ones Sugar and Spice, and am hoping someone might have some advice or experience please. S&S have always slept with me in my bedroom since I got them (about 1.5 years) - they have always had free reign to do what they want and yes I admit they are very very spoilt. Recently, the new man has been staying over and I've had to shut them out of the bedroom when they keep jumping onto the head end of the bed and don't accept the push off technique - as he is quite allergic to cats. However, everytime this has happended one of the little lovelys has pooped on the floor outside (I have my suspicions as to which one it is , but no evidence to be 100% sure). When he doesn't stay they are allowed in - because their jumping on the bed, waking me up at 4.30, 6.30 and 7.30 is part of the fun :-). Please does anyone have any tips on how to stop them doing this????

You could try feilway plug inns and putting a few drops of rescue remedy in their water. I think they are just telling you that they don't like the fact they can't get in the bedroom with you. They are probably confused as well with being allowed in when the boyfriend doesn't stay but not being allowed to be in there when he does stay, which is sending mixed signals to them. If they aren't allowed in you need to stick to that and not allow them in when the boyfriend isn't there either otherwise they could take a dislike to him and leave you more presents its their way of telling you they aren't happy.

Thank you - I was thinking someone might say that. Just hate the fact of always locking them out!
